Turkey Bacon Burgers


ingredients

  • 1½ pounds lean ground turkey
  • ½ pound uncured sugar-free bacon slices, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Rustic Herb Seasoning 
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1½ teaspoons Ultimate Steak Seasoning 
  • 2 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled and sliced


directions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F. In large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. Form into 6 patties.
  2. Place patties on a greased broiler pan. Bake 15 minutes. Turn over and continue baking 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer.
  3. Sprinkle tomato slices with Ultimate Steak Seasoning. Place burgers on tomatoes slices. Top with avocado slices.
Makes 6 servings.
Serve with a garden salad.
Make Ahead & Freeze: Prepare step 1. Place in a gallon freezer bag between sheets of wax paper. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely.
